RHINOPLASTY (OPEN APPROACH)
I had been thinking about rhinoplasty for 15 years and finally made a couple of appointments for a consultation at the end of 2018. I called Mr D’souza’s secretary to ask about booking a consultation but had mentioned how I have booked a couple others each costing £250 and I am worried about paying out all this money on consultations. I was then kindly informed that he had a free “mini consultation”, to which point I immediately booked for this. I had been recommended to see Mr D’Souza by a well respected doctor that I know very well. Firstly before even meeting Mr D’Souza I was so very impressed by Chelsea and Karen his two secretaries, they are both so efficient, helpful, knowledgeable just overall fantastic communicators. When I first meet Mr D’Souza, I knew I wanted him to do my operation, he was so friendly, warm, welcoming, professional, and on top of that, he knew exactly what I was looking for, and he took into account my whole face not just my nose. The mini (free) consultation didn’t feel rushed, he was very informative and I came away feeling like I had all the relevant information to make a informed life changing decision. Mr D’Souza took photos and showed me what my nose will look like, and he was able to let me take photos of them so I had an idea what to expect which was so helpful. I went back for a second consultation mainly to ask any further queries I had, and talk mode about the procedure. I finally made the decision for the operation and booked it for roughly 3 months after my first consultation. I arrived at BMI The Sloane Hospital early in the morning, Mr D’Souza came and met me to sign paperwork and to address any last minute worries. I was also met by the anaesthetist and this was my main worry about the actual operation, so I had a few questions to ask. Again meet with all helpful answers. The operation itself went well, it was roughly 2.5hrs. I can say once the splint came off, I was so happy already, even with the swelling, everything was exactly how he had explained. It’s been nearly 3 months now and I couldn’t be happier, It’s exactly what I wanted and what I visioned. I fully recommend Mr D’Souza to any one wanting Rhinoplasty, he is professional, experienced, and makes you feel at ease, just everything from start to finish was fantastic. Mr D’Souza wasn’t recommend to me, I had the privilege of finding him myself online. I did however have the pleasure of previously using a BMI hospital before where I received excellent care. Mr D’Souza made myself and my husband feel very welcome on arrival and was very thorough in explaining the surgical procedure, recovery and the expected final outcomes. I didn’t feel nervous, worried nor afraid, but rather excited to see how I would look and feel after surgery. I arrived at the hospital and the team took care of me immediately. I had a lovely comfortable room with a very caring nurse called Becky, who took care of me before and after my procedure. I could not find any fault with my care at the hospital. Mr D’Souza came in to see me and explained how everything went just before I was discharged and for that, I am very grateful to him. I have now been home for two and a half weeks and I am not disappointed with the results! I can see the difference now the bruising has gone and the stitches have dissolved. I have had no pain and I have felt relaxed and extreamly well throughout my recovery. I would highly recommend Mr. Alwyn D’Souza, the BMI Sloane and the team at London Facial Surgery.

MINOR OP PROCEDURE
Mr D’Souza took time to explain the possibilities to me in advance of the minor op so that I was as well informed as I could be. He had a manner on the day of the surgery that gave me quiet confidence and took appropriate time to explain the outcome and sensible follow up at the final consultation. Mr D’Souza’s secretary was very helpful with organising appointments, dealing with BUPA on my behalf and was extremely efficient and supportive finding a way through the system which is not as straightforward as I might have expected! She seemed to go the extra mile on my behalf at a time when, as a patient, one is feeling a little anxious and vulnerable. Many thanks for everything.
